Liz Vassey's acting career started when she was only nine years old. Since then, Liz has been in more than fifty stage productions and musicals. At the age of 16, Liz moved into New York to become part of All My Children. Her work on the show brought her the first Daytime Emmy nomination. Since then Liz has appeared as a regular character on a total of 12 different TV shows, including ER Max Bob, Necessary Roughness Brotherly Love The Tick Nevada Two and a Half Men FOX's live action adaptation from The Tick and most recently Season Two of the reboot of The Tick on Amazon. However she is most likely best known for her role as DNA tech Wendy Simms on the television show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation that she starred in for the duration of five years. Liz was as well a guest on a number of TV shows and pilots, as well as in several films. Liz's career is not only in acting she also writes. During her final season on CSI she served as the co-writer of one episode. Since then, she has sold six TV pilots and one TV movie which are currently being developed at NBC Freeform Universal Netflix and The CW among other networks as well as studios. She played a police detective in Ringer, a detective's wife on Southland as well as a bounty-hunter in CBS' The Odds pilot The Odds and a bank burglar in Medium. For the rest of her professional career Swallow also played a mermaid and star in the Shana Sosin-directed independent film The Rift.
